MD One Stainless Steel Stethoscopes

The MDF® MD One® stainless steel stethoscope is a quality and durable stethoscope that nurses, doctors, medical practitioners, paramedics, students and more have relied on for years. Simply put, the difference in a titanium vs stainless steel stethoscope is the weight. Stainless steel stethoscopes are well known for their quality sound transmission due to stainless steel being a dense material, however this can feel heavy over long shifts. With the highest strength-to-density ratio of any metallic element and at nearly half the weight of stainless steel, we took the same classic design of the MD One® and ProCardial® stethoscopes and made a titanium stethoscope series, to bring you lightweight stethoscopes with the sound quality you expect from stainless steel.

To best care for your stainless steel stethoscope, we recommend cleaning it with 70% isopropyl alcohol or using warm soapy water to clean the tubing. If using warm water, be sure to thoroughly dry the tubing with a clean cloth immediately after and avoid getting water on the chestpiece and headset. To prolong the life of your stethoscope tubing and keep it flexible and soft, avoid extreme temperatures and store in a cool dry place. You may also want to store your stethoscope hanging when not in use and avoid wearing it around your neck for prolonged periods of time

All MDF® stethoscopes with defects in materials and workmanship can qualify for repair or replacement at no cost, as part of our Lifetime Warranty. Our warranty covers the stethoscope from eartip to chestpiece and everything in between, including the tubing.
